...because IE keeps messing up my CSS and rendering fonts in a way a baby treats a diaper. Really, if you are viewing this on Internet Explorer then you need to download Firefox: Click Here. After you download and install it, check the site. Your eyes will be open to what a real browser should show.

You could also try out Safari, included in every OS X installation, and freely downloadable for Windows: Safari 3.2.3 for Windows.

I'm not bashing IE; the fact of the matter is that Microsoft uses the inferior Trident rendering engine, where Firefox uses Gekko and Safari uses WebKit. Without getting into a bunch of technical mumbo jumbo, Firefox and Safari just render HTML and semantic markup better; they adhere to published web standards where Microsoft decides their own standards are really better. If you've done any web development you know about IE conditionals and hacks. If you want to have some fun talk to a web designer about IE, just sit back and watch the fireworks and chuckle. OK now, go get your Firefox or Safari... check it for yourself. Happy surfing!
